Overview/Technical data:
Plant for the catalytic transformation of plastic into oil
Construction method:
Modular construction in container design and robust construction
System type:
Fully automatic plant with remote maintenance possibility
Schraufstetter method:
Input materials are oxygen-free in an extruder and then cracked in a reactor with the addition of a catalyst. At temperatures of approx. 350 °C the input materials evaporate, which are then condensed as middle distillate or, if desired (on extra charge), immediately in different fractions.
Capacity:
Input 4,000 - 4,500 t/p.a. depending on material properties
Input:
Max. 5 - 20 mm large hydrocarbon containing residual waste with a maximum residual moisture of 15% and a chlorine content of less than 1% (little PVC). At tyre parts is the size max. 1 - 5 mm
Output:
Oil in heating oil quality, kerosene, petrol and aromatics.
Output with substitute fuels (RDF) approx.:
65% middle distillate (of which approx. 60% diesel)
5% aromatics
15% Residues, metals, gas
15% water
(depending on the input material)
Energy supply:
Cogeneration plant (450 KWh), produces heat and electricity.
